Scary news flash (of the "Nature bats Last" variety)

There were 250 mph winds generated by that typhoon in the Philippines?   I'm amazed that anything at all survived those kinds of winds.

But imagine if that horrendous storm had hit just a little bit further north, say at Fukushima, Japan, where all those stored nuclear fuel rods sit dangling up in the air.  I probably wouldn't be sitting here in Berkeley, CA, typing this right now, if it had.  There's a fairly good chance that if that typhoon had hit just a bit further north, I would be dead. http://rt.com/news/fukushima-destroy-japan-us-290/
